Position Overview:
plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of our production machinery and facility infrastructure. The Maintenance Technician will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting and repairing equipment in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on all production equipment, refrigeration systems, and facility machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical malfunctions on various production lines, ovens, mixers, and packaging equipment.
  • Assist in the installation, calibration, and setting up of new equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, parts inventory, and downtime reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and minimize production disruption.
  • Collaborate with production staff to identify potential equipment issues and provide solutions to prevent future breakdowns.
  • Support the team with special projects and equipment upgrades.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, ideally in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Familiarity with food manufacturing equipment and safety regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and maintenance tasks.
  • Willingness to work on-call shifts and overtime as needed.
