Job Description HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE As a Seasonal General Production Associate, you will support daily manufacturing operations by helping produce high-quality products in a safe and efficient environment. You will rotate through various production areas, assist team members across the operation, maintain food safety and quality standards, and help ensure production goals are met during our busy season. WHAT YOU WILL DO Continuously inspect products to ensure quality standards are met. Rotate between assigned workstations and cross-train in equivalent skill roles as needed. Review important safety, food safety, quality, and operational information during shift transitions. Assist Utilities, Operators, Baggers, and other production team members when needed. Remove damaged or unclean baskets and store them in designated areas. Clean equipment and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the production area. Remove trash and support general sanitation activities. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Housekeeping Practices (GHPs). Follow all Job Safety Analysis (JSA) guidelines, food safety requirements, and plant policies. Communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with team members and supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned.
Area-Specific ResponsibilitiesDry OperationsMonitor product flow from conveyors through slicing equipment. Prevent product jam-ups at slicer infeed and discharge points. Pack finished products into cases according to specifications. Place cartons on the Superior system and document lot coding information. Remove products that do not meet specifications from the conveyor line.
Moulder OperationsMonitor panning to ensure dough seams are positioned correctly. Record dough weights and enter data into the CornerStone system. Fill and monitor flour hoppers. Place pans as needed to address production gaps.
Packaging Operations Straighten products prior to slicing. Monitor slicer infeed areas to prevent line stoppages. Remove damaged or non-conforming products from the production line. Rack products as required. Pack finished products into baskets according to specifications. Perform inspection duties as assigned.
Processing OperationsSort raisins and ingredients. Provide relief coverage for Platform Assistants. Perform Micros and Minors duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
(MUST HAVE)High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and rotate between workstations. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow GMPs, food safety requirements, plant policies, and safety procedures. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and extended shifts as required.
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift. Ability to continuously grasp and handle products and materials. Ability to frequently reach away from the body. Ability to occasionally lift products weighing up to 30 pounds. Ability to occasionally bend forward during routine tasks. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting performing repetitive movements.
Equipment UsedIT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE
(NICE TO HAVE)Prior food manufacturing, food processing, or production experience. Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment. Experience operating or working around production line equipment and conveyors. Familiarity with quality inspection processes and food safety standards. Cross-training experience across multiple production functions.
Work Environment8-12 hour shifts with two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute meal period. Overtime and weekend work are required based on business needs. Indoor manufacturing environment with minimal to moderate noise levels and controlled temperatures. Potential exposure to dry ingredient dust. Occasional slippery walking surfaces may be present. Adequate lighting throughout the facility.
CompensationPay: $20.00/hour Shift: 4PM-4AM Schedule: 8 12-hour shifts (overtime and weekend work required) Assignment Duration: Seasonal position
